Senior Vice President of Sales
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic sales leader with a proven track record of success who is driven to deliver. This individual will be responsible for developing a winning sales organization, and executing a sales strategy to achieve Idea’s annual targets and growth and expansion goals. Reporting directly to the President of Idea, this position is an integral part of a technology company that demystifies the world of IT consulting, explains clearly what Idea can do and provides solutions that our clients can work with.
Our new SVP will be strategically capable and tactically driven, conducting insightful business planning to build our company’s customer base. This individual will provide senior leadership and direction in developing and motivating a team of highly effective sales executives who present Idea’s capabilities to clients across North America.
Skills and Experience
Our new SVP will be a seasoned sales executive with a resume that includes:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree
- 8-10 years of proven sales experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing a sales organization with demonstrated leadership abilities
- Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers
and partners
- Ability to hire and develop top talent
- Experience in a services organization specializing in IT solutions or business consulting solutions
- Ability to function and prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task, team environment and to meet deadlines
- Problem solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements
This position requires extensive travel (up to 75% of working time) within the US, and possibly some international travel.
