Bayer Corporation Honors Idea Integration

Idea Implements Product to Improve Workflow Process at Bayer

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (February 12, 2001) -- -- Idea Integration, the e-business solutions unit of Modis Professional Services, Inc. (NYSE:MPS), today announced that its recent project work for Bayer Corporation has received a Level I award from Bayer's Polyurethanes Division recognition committee for superior contributions to Bayer's continuous improvement process.

Idea received the award for implementing a product that streamlines the workflow of Bayer's Materials Characterization department. Every year the department receives over 1,200 material analysis requests, which, in the past, were manually logged. The new process integrates databases of requests, updates, and results and allows both analysts and customers to share this information over their network.

According to Gary Dick, IS manager for Bayer, "We are very pleased with the results of Idea's implementation. The new workflow process has increased collaboration between our internal departments and our clients. And, it has reduced turnaround times on requests by 25%."
